Global Security: Provides background information from a military perspective.

Stanford University: Contains a list of sites to explore regarding Uganda.  Look at the titles and summaries carefully.  Keep a particular focus on "Human Rights Watch" since it can provide much information regarding this particular topic.

U.S. Department of State: This page highlights some of the consequences of the civil war and what is being done about the destruction.
