transfer request
In-district transfers requests for families who wish their student to attend a school other than their neighborhood school must be submitted January 4 to April 15. Families have the opportunity to apply for any school in Highline Public Schools. The In-district Transfer Request form is available here or at the district administration office.
All transfers will be approved or denied based on school capacity and prioritized transfer categories. All families will be notified by July 15 or approval or denial.
Please note that transportation is not provided except in circumstances noted in Policy 3132.
Inter-district transfers requests may be submitted beginning May 1.
