Criminal Justice Training for the Rest of Your Future!

Students entering the Criminal Justice Training program have some of the finest professionals in the region as trainers. Detectives, Deputies and Sergeants from Des Moines, King County, the Criminal Justice Training Center and Highline Community College march them through law, patrol procedures, test preparation, investigations and more! Deputy Ferguson, Deputy Mitchell and Sergeant Johnson recently ran the students through mock "Oral Board" interviews - preparing them for future opportunities with local agencies – these were pictured on the flyer!
Students may earn college credit as well as experience the most unique opportunity available to high school students interested in this field. Law Enforcement, Corrections, Security, Investigations, K-9 and many more areas of Criminal Justice Training are covered in this program. Most classes are held off campus at local agencies with transportation provided. Second semester students have an opportunity to intern and must provide their own transportation. This broad area of employment has a very strong future, with training focused on adaptability and preparation for diverse opportunities. A uniform code will be required for designated classes and fundraising activities will help offset expenses. For more information email me at marquema@hsd401.org
