This organization is the Washington Council for High School-College Relations. The web site is rather complicated, but it includes links to the NCAA Clearing House (information for students who want to play a sport in college), the Community and Technical College Board, the Higher Education Board, and some college applications. This is where you can find the Admissions Index, the number derived from a students SAT score and high school GPA that is used by Washington Universities as an admission determiner.

This is a web site that provides links to the home pages for American colleges and universities that grant a four-year degree. The schools are arranged in alphabetical order, making it easy to find a school when you do not know the state in which it is located.

This web site will identify and link to community and two-year colleges in each state.

Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges maintains this web site with information about and links to each of the state-supported community and technical colleges in the state. Most school’s web sites include the opportunity to apply on-line or to look for scholarships at that school.

Use this web site to select a state to search and then look for training in a particular technical field. After you identify the state and field that you want to study, the search engine will identify the schools with links.
