Welcome to Pacific Middle School’s website. At Pacific we pride ourselves in the safe, caring environment we have created. Each of our staff members are committed to doing their best to provide a caring community of learners. Everyone at Pacific is a life long learner. We continually strive to become the best middle school we can be. Our teachers are committed to working and learning together. As a result of their learning, they are constantly improving their teaching which results in academic achievement for all students. This is a unique time in children’s lives. While many look like they should be in high school others look like they could still be in elementary school! Developmentally, they are all at very different places. This is the natural time for them to want to develop their independence and think they have it all under control. For parents, this is a time for you to keep checking on your student’s progress at school as well as their social interactions, including internet use. Please take the time to check their planner on a regular basis. If it is full, your student is probably doing just fine. Ask about current assignments. If the planner has little in it, get concerned and contact you student’s counselor. Chances are that the social aspect of middle school is taking precedence over academics. Within our website, you will find a list of all staff member’s email addresses. Please feel free to contact any staff member about your questions and concerns. Most of all enjoy the wonderful unique experience of middle school! |
