Beverly Danner passed away in June. In 1970 she was
employed at Hazel Valley and retired as Hazel Valley’s
office manager on 8/31/92.
Nancy Gustafson passed away unexpectedly due to
complications from diabetes on July 15. She began working
at Hazel Valley as a 1st grade teacher in 1967-68 school
year. She moved to Burien Heights in 1969 and remained
there until 1970-71.
In 1971-72 she was a kindergarten teacher at Chelsea Park.
She moved to Angle Lake in 1973-74 and then on to White
Center Heights in 1976-77 and remained there until June
1986. In 1986-87 Nancy moved to Cedarhurst as a
kindergarten teacher and remained there until 1996-97. She
moved to Marvista as the kindergarten teacher and then to
Parkside in 1997-98 school year. Nancy retired June 2002.
Barbara Starnes passed away on June 18 at the age
of 70. She was employed as a sub teacher aide for the
1977-78 school year. In 1979 she worked at Valley View and
in 1983-84 came to ERAC’s Curriculum Department. In
1987-88 she took a position at OSC and remained there
until 1988-89 when she moved to ERAC in the Activities
Department. Barbara moved to the Communications Office in
1990 and retired June 1999.
