1/23/2007 - American Cancer Society Relay for Life of
Highline Kickoff
The Second Annual Relay for Life of Highline will be coming to
the Highline stadium in Burien this June. The fund-raiser for
the American Cancer Society provides an opportunity for the
residents and businesses of Burien, Normandy Park, SeaTac and
Des Moines in the Highline School District to work together to
raise funds for cancer research and support for patients with
cancer. Board members, school district staff, students and
parents are invited to participate in the relay and the Kick-Off
Party which is scheduled for January 23.

1/3 – 2/2 - Evergreen HS “Scientific Illustrations”
Look for a show of Scientific Illustrations from Evergreen High
School at Geno's in January. The show will run from Jan 8-Feb 2,
and we will have artwork and beautiful calendars for sale--all
proceeds will go to send students to North Cascades Institute
for an intensive workshop in May. Geno's Bakery is on Ambaum at
116th.
