To better assist those employees who wish to advertise personal items for sale, we have established an on-line Classified Advertising process that will replace the printed version previously found in the "Highline Happenings."
All current district e-mail users can access the Classified Ads folder in the public folders section in Outlook. If you do not have access or use e-mail, you may send your classified ad information to
Judy Balko or Barbara Blackshear-Haley at ERAC for posting.
To post an ad into the Classified Ad folder:

Access Outlook

Scroll to "Public Folders" on the left side of your inbox
messages

Click on the + sign, note the next level of folders identifies "All Public Folders"

Click on the + sign for "All Public Folders"

Click on the "Classified Ads" folder

Click on "Compose" on your main tool bar

Select "New Post to this Folder"
-
Title your sale item or item you wish to purchase

Write description, cost, contact information, and expiration date in the body of the ad or
information about an item you would like to purchase

Once your ad is finalized, select "Post" on the tool bar

Your ad will be posted to the folder at this time
All users will have access to read and to respond, if so desired, but only the person who posted the ad and the Communication Office will have the ability to delete the ad.
Once your sale is complete, you must remove your ad from this folder. Simply access the folder and delete the posted item the same way you delete an e-mail
message.
The Communication Office will monitor the "Classified Ads" folder to ensure all items are still current and relevant information is posted.
No personal business should be advertised. The Communication Office has editorial rights for all posted ads.
