The Automotive Technology Program is an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) nationally certified program, with students able to study in five different areas including:
- Engine Performance
- Breaks
- Electrical/Electronic Systems
- Suspension & Steering
- Engine Repair
Mr. Mckinnon’s formal Education:
- Technical Degree Lewis-Clark State College – 1968
- Bachelor’s Degree University of Idaho – 1974
Mr. McKinnon’s work experience prior to PSSC:
- 15 years experience working construction as a mechanic
- 7 years experience working as a automotive service technician
Mr. McKinnon’s Philosophy:
- Working with students is my passion
- Automotive students need to further their education upon leaving PSSC
- Leadership, teamwork, & other soft skills are an important part of education
